Meet Crystal K

Crystal is the founder and Creative Director of Crystal K Events, a luxury floral and event design studio based in Brooklyn, New York, serving clients across the tri-state area, Ghana, and destinations worldwide.

Her love affair with flowers began in childhood, nurtured by her mother — a talented florist whose artistry with blooms left an indelible mark on Crystal's creative spirit. Growing up surrounded by the vibrant colors, textures, and transformative power of flowers, Crystal developed an eye for design and a deep appreciation for the way beautiful spaces can elevate life's most meaningful moments.

In 2016, Crystal channeled that lifelong passion into a business, founding Crystal K Events with a bold vision: to create celebrations that are not only visually breathtaking but deeply personal. Over the past decade, she has designed and styled hundreds of events — from opulent New York weddings and lavish milestone celebrations to vibrant Ghanaian traditional ceremonies and intimate destination gatherings.

Crystal's design philosophy is rooted in the belief that every celebration should tell a story. She is known for her ability to translate a client's vision into an immersive experience — blending lush, couture-level florals with bold design choices that feel both timeless and fresh. Her work is characterized by rich color palettes, dramatic floral installations, and an unwavering commitment to detail that her clients describe as "nothing short of magical."

As her reputation grew, so did her ambitions. In 2022, Crystal expanded her floral expertise with the launch of Florals By Crystal, a curated flower shop in Brooklyn offering same-day delivery of stunning arrangements for every occasion. In 2023, she launched The Flower Party Workshop, an educational platform where aspiring and established event professionals come together for hands-on workshops, webinars, and coaching sessions to sharpen their floral design skills.

Crystal is also a published author, sharing her knowledge and insights with the next generation of event professionals and engaged couples alike.

When she is not designing extraordinary celebrations or mentoring fellow creatives, Crystal draws inspiration from travel, art, and the rich cultural traditions that inform her work.
